Yes, we offer destination photography services for clients who want to capture their special moments in a unique location. Please contact us to discuss your destination photography needs  and we will provide you with a personalized quote.

Absolutely! We encourage our clients to share their ideas and preferences with us for their photography session. We want your photos to reflect your personality and style, so we are happy to accommodate specific requests as much as possible.

We specialize in a natural, candid, and documentary style of photography that captures real moments and emotions.

The turnaround time is currently 2-3 weeks from the shooting date. 

 Digital photos will be available to view and print via a private online gallery. The Client will be able to order desired prints directly from that site.  

 Alison is fully vaccinated to include the Tdap and annual flu shot and I fully sanitize and clean backgrounds, blankets, wraps, clothing, and props between each session. Alison is also CPR/First Aid certified for infants and adults. 

 The first thing I do is determine the possible needs of the baby: are they fed, has the diaper been changed recently; do they need a nap; are they too hot/cold? Sometimes they just need a short break and a quiet place to be held. The baby always dictates the speed of the session and I work to keep the baby happy/sleepy.  

 Yes, I have many years of experience working with babies and children of all ages and temperaments and worked for six years specifically in behavior management for children.  

Clients are encouraged to reach out four to five months in advance of their due date. The due date will be penciled in and we will plan for the session within two weeks of that due date. Being flexible comes with the territory of newborn photos. Once baby arrives, we ask that parents contact via phone, text, or email with the happy news. Then we set our official session date and time to fit within that optimal newborn window for the photographs. 

 Newborn sessions are best when they take place within 5-14 days after baby’s birth. If this doesn’t fit your timeline, that is okay, I can work with older newborns and still get you great photos. We also have prop baskets and buckets of all sizes to accommodate for older newborns/infants. 

 We shoot a combination of themed posed/wrapped shots and lifestyle/candid photos, in the client’s home.

We aim to keep sessions to about 2-3 hours. Most babies can only be handled for about 3 hours before they become overstimulated. Things may come up, fussiness, feeding, etc. and it is all accounted for in the time frame. 

 Your session will include three of any of the following combinations:

· Choice of wraps and layering blankets/pieces in various colors/textures

· One Position prop – See the baskets, buckets, and chairs under “Prop Options”

· One beanbag fabric (provides a smooth uniform foreground and background)

· Lifestyle/ Themed shots -photos in the nursery, living room, or with themed props 

We offer newborn only and newborn with family photo packages. Please refer to the package pricing page for details. 

We offer props, wraps, and some clothing/accessory options available for both boys and girls. Some props are included in the pricing of photo packages, and some more specific “themed” props are a small additional price. During our initial consultation, we can discuss the props and colors I have available and what you'd be interested in using during our time. 

Yes, we have standard props that are included in the newborn package. We also have premium and themed props available for an extra fee. If you have a special request or an idea for specific props we can source them for an additional fee plus cost of the prop(s).

We do not offer any wardrobe for parents, we recommend dressing in neutral tones or consider wearing the same colors/tones you want for your baby. If you are doing the newborn and family package the family photos will be done first. For baby, please have them in a simple onesie so we can change them into outfits/swaddle/wraps. If your baby takes a pacifier or a bottle, please have those items ready to ease the transition between photos. 

Many families take photos of their baby's growth with a milestone blanket. With Milestones in A Flash we take those monthly milestone photos to the next level by capturing not only their physical growth but their cognitive and social emotional development as well. The Milestone package focuses on things like baby holding their head up; focusing on object; tummy time; sitting up; grabbing items; smiling; crawling; walking; eating; playing. You can book this package monthly or pay for the year which provides a $200 discount and we reserve all sessions on the calendar ahead of time so you don't have to remember to schedule. We will call you with a reminder 10 days before the session to ensure it still works for you.
